Are you a beer fan who'd like to know more about the brews that you sup?
If that describes you, then Chelmsford Summer Beer and Cider Festival is here to help with a series of tutored tastings at this year's event from July 10-14.
Each night from Tuesday to Friday, an expert in beer or cider will lead a session on a particular style. All tastings are ticket only and priced at £6.
On Tuesday, July 10, leading beer writer Roger Protz will be looking as six varied local ales from Essex brewers.
On Wednesday, July 11, CAMRA regional cider co-ordinator Chirs Rouse will be giving an introduction to various styles of cider and perry.
Tim Webb, author of World Atlas of Beer and Beligan beer expert, will lead a session on The New World of Beer in Six Glasses on Thursday, July 12 while on Friday, July 13, Franco Davanzo of Felsted Brewery and Nigel Sadler of Wibblers Brewery will be guiding you though Essex Real Ale in a Bottle.
Each tutored tasting is from 7.30pm-9pm and must be booked beforehand through firstname.lastname@example.org
