Channel 5's 'World's Toughest Trucker' reaches its climax on Friday with Stuart, one of three truckers, in the final with a chance of winning £100,000.

The show was filmed between July and October last year in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mongolia and India.

"It was such an epic adventure, I was getting a bit bored as I have pretty much been everywhere in Europe," said Stuart, who was among 60,000 people to have applied for the show. "It was a very refreshing challenge. I had always wanted to do all the locations we went to." Following his exploits on the show, he has been offered jobs in Australia and Canada, where the competitors had to collect 60-tonne loads of timber from a Canadian mountainside. He is eager to accept the job offer in Canada. Of all the places they travelled to, India stands out for Stuart. He said: "India was amazing. All the countries had their qualities and I've got too many memories to recount." As for the characters on the show, viewers will be aware of the different egos and personalities that it drew together. He said: "They were all lovely guys. Rookie was probably the craziest. He's an American rebel and Derek is a friend for life. "That kind of thing you don't go through without taking something away." But did he win it? Despite all my arm-twisting he declined to say. I guess I will just have to watch like everyone else on Friday night to find out.
